Introduction to videogames: blog tasks

1.)Following the 1947 invention of the cathode-ray tube amusement device—the earliest known interactive electronic game as well as the first to use an electronic display—the first true video games were created in the early 1950s.

7.) Saturation and Fatigue: Fortnite faced stiff competition from other battle royale games like Apex Legends, Warzone, and PUBG. As more games entered the genre, player bases fragmented, leading to fatigue and decreased engagement with Fortnite.

8.)The most fetishized products of 2020 were gaming platforms: the Nintendo Switch in the spring and the PlayStation 5 this fall. It wasn’t the usual suspects lining up to score a console either.
